In France, the capacity of the solar park amounted to 13,067 MW on 31 December 2021. With 14.3 TWh produced in 2020, an increase of 12.6% compared to 2020, the solar sector confirms its development and covers 3% of the annual electricity consumption (against 2.8% in 2020).
For the past three years, in order to meet the objectives of the Pluriannual Energy Programme, which aims to have 44,000 MW of solar power by the end of 2028, WKN France has been developing new ground-mounted or agrivoltaic solar projects. This year of development has borne fruit, as the photovoltaic team has succeeded in creating a portfolio of opportunities under consideration of 14 projects, representing 390 MWp. The municipalities, convinced by WKN France's approach and professionalism, have already sent in their first positive deliberations!
